Yoga + Beer takes to the streets of downtown Salem for a special, Sunday morning yoga party in collaboration with Taproot Lounge & Cafe. With sections of downtown Salem streets closed on weekends this summer, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to practice yoga in the middle of the street. And we might as well do it with great friends, and live music.
Join Mikki Trowbridge on Sunday, August 2nd for an all-levels flow yoga class, accompanied by DJ Residual Sugar. We’ll be gathering for class on the block of State St. between Liberty & Commercial.
After class, yogis are encouraged to stay and support Taproot through the purchase of food, beverages or a gift card. Taproot will have both indoor and outdoor seating available.
Things are operating a bit differently as we relaunch classes, so please review our new class policies and expectations, which includes our policy on face masks, before you register for this class.
Advance Registration Required. 60 spots available.
Registration for our August 2nd class opens on Sunday, July 26th at Noon.
Things to know:
Cost: By Donation. Pay what you can for class - with a suggested donation of $5 per yogi. You can make a donation when you register for class - or you can do so the day of class. Tokens of gratitude (i.e. chocolate, thank you notes, coffee cards, homemade gifts) are also accepted.
Advance registration is required.
During this time when our local businesses need our support, we are expecting all yogis in attendance to purchase a bottle of wine before or after class, or a gift card.
Please bring your own mat or towel. We will not have loaner mats during this time.
Class is open to yogis of all ages.
Class is weather permitting. If we end up needing to cancel class due to weather, you’ll be notified via email and will be refunded for any donations made during your registration.
