Join Mikki and our Yoga + Beer community for a six-week introduction to the practice of meditation. If you have been curious about meditation, but don’t know where to begin. Or you’ve tried to meditate, and just get frustrated, bored or sleepy. Or you have ever uttered the words “I’m really bad at meditation.” This series is for you. It’s also for you if you are a believer in meditation, and just looking for a weekly reminder and guidance into the practice.
Meditations will be streamed live, via our YouTube channel. In each session, we’ll include:
Simple movement to ease into our bodies and release the workday
Explore options for a comfortable seat or meditation posture, including prop options
Practice a 10 minute, guided meditation. Each week’s meditation will be different, giving you a taster tray of meditation practices to sample and explore.
You can attend all six meditations, or just one. You can attend classes live, or as recordings. No pressure. No stress. Build this into your life and your schedule as it makes sense to you.
What to Expect:
For each session, be prepared to get on the ground with a yoga mat or a towel, and any blocks and blankets (or books and pillows) that you have available. If you prefer to take your meditation in a chair, bring that.
